This is a package insurance policy for householders covering their household assets under different sections so as to make it a comprehensive deal. Apart from covering various assets under different sections Insurers give some discount on the total premium for opting more than 4-6 sections.
What is covered under the householder policy?
The house and its contents are covered for fire and allied perils. The contents are also covered for burglary risk. Household appliances, various electrical and electronic appliances are also covered for electrical breakdowns. Jewellery and other precious articles are also covered. Personal accident and personal liability also gets covered under the package policy.
